Flexibility
We pride ourselves on being very flexible in what we do, and will always try to accommodate special requirements. We realise that you're the client, it's your event, and it's up to us to fit in.
Inevitably, events do over-run but you can be confident in our experience at fitting in with last-minute changes.
Price
We always quote our prices as a band rate plus costs. The band rate is the charge for hiring the band and the costs cover transport and hiring expenses (P.A., lighting etc.)
Our clients have repeatedly told us we are good value - we truly believe you won't be able to hire an attraction quite as exciting for this money anywhere else.
Location
Based in London and the Midlands, distance is no object. Previous gigs range from Scotland to Cornwall and travel outside the U.K. is no problem.
Sets
We usually play two storming one hour sets with a short break in-between (meanwhile, CDs can be played through the P.A. system). We are able to do one longer set, three smaller sets or a combination to fit in with your event.
P.A. & Lighting
If a P.A. isn't already supplied, we are able to offer preferrential rates from our regular supplier. This means a reduced cost is passed directly to you and our sound is managed by a trusted professional.
The P.A. can also be used to play CDs before the sets and during the break and we can also organise lighting equipment, smoke machines and other effects if requested.
Booking Plan
From initial contact we will aim to reply within two working days, and once you have a fixed date we will confirm the booking as soon as possible. We can then sort out the finer details (e.g. timings and equipment) and draw up a contract. At that point a 10% deposit will secure the booking.
On The Day
Although we prefer two hours to set up and soundcheck, we can condense this into as little as an hour if required. We will need access to the venue during this time in order for us to be comfortably out of the way for the first guests arriving. |
Band Room
We require a lockable room capable of holding fifteen people in which to change, store instruments and remain on-hand until required.
Rider and Refreshments
We will need water and soft drinks throughout the event, and will require meals or snacks for fifteen people (the band and sound engineer).
Payment
We ask for an advance deposit to cover the technical costs of any gig (if there are no costs then the deposit is 10% of the quoted price). The balance is then payable at the time of the event.
Guest List
Occasionally we may request a reasonable guest list for an event (no extra rider is expected to be supplied). This is entirely dependent on the occasion (we wouldn't ask for one at a wedding for example) and we will respect your decision.
As a professional band, this is sometimes the best way for us to show prospective clients just what an impact we can have on a crowd. |
